Ausxip Charity Auction 2010

Torna il consueto appuntamento con l'asta di Beneficenza di Ausxip in onore del compleanno di Lucy.
L'Asta inizierà tra due settimane e tutto il ricavato andrà a Starship(Lucy) e alla Alissa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation(Renee).
Ci saranno oggetti e foto autografate da Lucy, Renee, Adrienne, Steven e tanti altri.
In oltre ci sono un iPod nano 16GB di Lucy, con delle canzoni scelte da Lucy, un suo video, e un suo autografo

Xeniti e il Greater Good

MaryD ha fatto alcune riflessioni sull'asta appena conclusa, e sulla grande generosità dei fans in tempi di crisi.
Molte persone hanno donato a Starship e al ROC outreach fund anche più di quanto valeva l'oggetto acquistato. Altri che non hanno vinto hanno comunque fatto una donazione a queste due associazioni.

Lucy ha detto nel suo messaggio di ringraziamento ai fans:

Una fans ha scritto un'email a MaryD dicendole dei motivi che l'hanno spinta a partecipare all'Asta, perchè sa che Lucy e Renee sono persone generose, e la loro generosità l'ispira a dare a chi ne ha bisogno:

Lucys appreciation of her fans is one of the first things, I realized when first coming to AUSXIP and the Xenaverse, that make her and Renée so special...because I have never witnessed anything like that before. So her letter makes me proud to be part of this giving "gang" ...doing it anyway and it defintiely is a very consious choice to spent this hard earned money for their (Lucy's and Renées, well and AUSXIPs) Charities...because even though Lucy always tries to disconnect the fans graciousness from her persona...in the end I think it has almost everything to do with her own graciousness...Fans willingness to give is undouptedly to a great deal because of her. And to me that is how I realize that one person really can make a difference, because we are all connected. I am kind of moved by this whole auction thing..."
