Ausxip Charity Auction 2010

Torna il consueto appuntamento con l'asta di Beneficenza di Ausxip in onore del compleanno di Lucy.
L'Asta inizierà tra due settimane e tutto il ricavato andrà a Starship(Lucy) e alla Alissa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation(Renee).
Ci saranno oggetti e foto autografate da Lucy, Renee, Adrienne, Steven e tanti altri.
In oltre ci sono un iPod nano 16GB di Lucy, con delle canzoni scelte da Lucy, un suo video, e un suo autografo

Quando vi aggiudicate un oggetto, vi arriva per email la conferma che potete pagarlo.
Nell'email vi arriva il link della pagina di Starship Foundation(se è un oggetto pertinente a Lucy)
o il ROC OutReach Found(se è un oggetto relativo a Renee).
Se cliccate sul link vi indirizza direttamente a Starship o al ROC OutReach Found.
Nel caso di Starship quando andate sulla pagina delle donazioni, vi chiede di riempire un modulo. Nella parte dove c'è scritto "A cosa volete indirizzare questa donazione" dovete cliccare su Ausxip Lucy Charity Auction e fare la donazione relativa all'oggetto che vi siete aggiudicati. Una volta fatta la donazione, vi arriva un'email di Conferma da parte di Starship Foundation, con una ricevuta e un numero. A quel punto dovete inviare la ricevuta di donazione a Starship ad Ausxip, e l'oggetto vi verrà inviato senza nessuna spesa di spedizione(le pagano loro).

Io l'anno scorso mi sono aggiudicata una foto di Lucy autografata, e non ho pagato Ausxip, sono stata indirizzata direttamente a Starship e la donazione l'ho fatta direttamente a loro nel modo che ho descritto sopra. Ausxip non può accettare soldi e non prende soldi per ragioni legali. Quindi la cosa è sicura al 100%: i vostri soldi vanno direttamente all'associazione benefica di vostra scelta.

The 2010 AUSXIP Charity Auction is live. Now you can all see what the AUSXIP Auction team has been working on for the last few months. Thank you to everyone for their support! The list of thanks for the stars who have contributed is long. Thanks goes to Renee O'Connor who took time to sign and create the two videos that will be with her ipod nano and to sign all the goodies you see in the ROC OutReach fund. This year Renee has chosen to have the funds donated to the Haiti/Chili earthquake relief fund. The ipods were donated by an anonymous fan and are gorgeous. We also want to thank Erin Cummings, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Katrina Law, Michael Hurst and Jennifer Ward-Lealand for being so generous with their time, donating items and making this auction so special. Crystal Chappell has been so generous with her time and her pjs <g> so we are stoked to have her on board for the first time in an AUSXIP Charity Auction. Starz Entertainment also came to the party by giving us permission to print the Spartacus promotional photos and being absolutely wonderful to deal with. Let's not forget Starship who have been a tremendous help in making payment for Starship items go as smoothly as possible. It's an absolute pleasure in dealing with them.

Thanks goes to my untiring team, Christa and Roger who without their help, it would be impossible to do this auction.

Last but not least I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Lucy Lawless. An extra special thank you goes to Lucy, who in the middle of a Spartacus PR firestorm took time out to sign a whole bunch of cool stuff, film a brief video message to go with the ipod and give of herself even though she was being pulled in every which way at the time.

L'asta sta per concludersi, oggi e domani sono gli ultimi giorni. Se c'è qualcosa che vi interessa e volete avere affrettatevi.
Io ho perso l'opportunità con l'iPod di Lucy che ha superato i 1000 dollari :(, adesso sto cercando di prendere qualcos'altro e per scaramanzia non dico cosa.

I am a day wiser today. I had a wonderful birthday and I just realised that that was truly a birthday present to me! Gosh, now I feel all redfaced. I know you all work so hard for every buck you make and I never want to cajole money out of my beloved fans for any reason. I appreciate all you have done for me in my life and career and I truly ask for nothing more from you. But you make these things happen anyway.

Xeniti e il Greater Good

MaryD ha fatto alcune riflessioni sull'asta appena conclusa, e sulla grande generosità dei fans in tempi di crisi.
Molte persone hanno donato a Starship e al ROC outreach fund anche più di quanto valeva l'oggetto acquistato. Altri che non hanno vinto hanno comunque fatto una donazione a queste due associazioni.

Lucy ha detto nel suo messaggio di ringraziamento ai fans:
